Membership

Somerton Yacht Club welcomes new members of all levels of sailing ability.  We offer both sailing and social memberships, so if you want intense competition, just a bit of or even just a social atmosphere, we have something for you.

Our membership options are:

Sailor – Adult : $280 per year (over 18 years as at 31 October) 

Sailor – Concession : $200 per year (i.e. pensioner, student over 18 years) 

Sailor – Concession : $200 per year (i.e. pensioner, student over 18 years) 

Sailor – Student :  $120 (under 25 years as at 31 October) 

Sailor – Junior :  $65 (under 18 years as at 31 October) 

Windsurf/ Wing Foil/ SUP :  $65 (Non boat sailing memberships)

Non Sailor Social Membership : $55 (over 18 years as at 31 October)

SYC also provides the opportunity to come and try the club for 3x sails prior to membership being required.
